The appointments continue with the Digital Truffle Lab - the laboratory dedicated to knowing and understanding the most prized mushroom in the world - and the Langhe Digital Wine Lab - an appointment for virtual tasting of the great wines of the Langhe.
The third weekend of the International Alba White Truffle Fair ended on Sunday - preceded by the weekend dedicated to Folklore, the first weekend of October - in what will go down in history as the edition of courage. On its 90th anniversary, the largest global event dedicated to the Tuber magnatum Pico has taken up the challenge, proposing an edition capable of innovating and transforming itself with great flexibility, given the continuous changes in the scenario imposed by the spread of the pandemic from Covid-19. From next weekend, therefore, we will go digital: at least until 24 November 2020, when we will see if the health emergency will allow a live shooting of the Fair.
"In compliance with the latest provisions of the Prime Ministerial Decree launched by the Government, in agreement with the municipal administration, the Truffle Fair will be suspended until next November 24 - says the president of the Fair Authority, Liliana Allena -. If there were the conditions, by monitoring the trend of the epidemiological curve, we will evaluate the new conditions, in concert with all the actors with whom we have collaborated so far, to think about a possible reopening in presence "
